Six communication students attended a student media workshop and meet-n-greet Feb. 24 at UT-Tyler. The students were given a tour of the department, and they visited the student newspaper, the Patriot Talon. The communication’s faculty shared with the students the new proposed curriculum for the department. Starting next year, UT-Tyler’s communication’s curriculum will be divided into two tracks: public relations integrated communication and multimedia journalism.
