The students at Trinity Valley celebrated Halloween with decorations and a kickback.
At cardinal hall residents of the dorms decorated their doors for the contest that each floor had. The creativity ranged from a simple drawing to a more elaborate setup.
The SGA hosted a Halloween kickback at the student union building on Oct 27. There was free drinks and snacks. The tournaments students could participate included ping pong, pool, Madden, and NBA 2017.
“This is an opportunity for all students to see how much fun we have throughout the year,” said Lacey Burroughs, student government president.
The event was put together entirely by the students. The idea behind the kickback is to give students a distraction from all the work and stress that college can apply.
“[it’s] Just for fun and give people a chance to relax this semester.” Said Ashley and Karson, members of the student government organization.
A holiday is a day of festivity where no productive work is done, and that’s what college students need once in a while.
